Holy Night

Traditional media.
Markers on paper.

Markers used: mainly Letraset ProMarkers
Paper used: Canson XL Marker -- 70g/m2

The  calligraphy is mine.
I wrote the words on paper with ink with a special art pen:
the Pilot Parallel Pen 3.8 mm.

Then I changed the colours in Photoshop.

(framing in Photoshop, as usual using my own patterns and layer styles)..

SaltwaterFor a long time I had not done calligraphy.

If I were serious I would have been training.
Time, patience and practice are the keys to calligraphy.

So little time, so many things to do.... :)

TeeJay87As far as I remember, I've always been bad at calligraphy, especially when I had to write things in hurry.

During my university education, I made some considerable attempts to improve it, example can be seen here http://www.fanart-central.net/pictures/user/TeeJay87/842612/Igoryoskha-Uzhashnaya-Koskha (I've written "vodka" in Russian using my tablet, which is also handwriting).

As you see, calling my handwriting "beautiful" would be an exaggeration, but at least it can be read without difficulties. ;)

SaltwaterWell done for your "vodka".
Easy to read, indeed.
(and easy to drink for the tovarich  lol  )

Readability is an important point.
Some handwritings look stunningly beautiful,
but on the other hand (no pun intended), they may be difficult to decipher,
especially the vintage cursive handwritings...
