Hee hee, thanks for your comment! (took me long to reply, I'm not really on here anymore - moved to deviantART) Nope! He can't! :D Ever played one of the old games? If you jump into water, Sonic sinks like a rock! And he drowns if you don't find air bubbles to breathe in.
