Sunny: bio

Second bio out is Sonic's sister. You don't have to read everything below, you can bug me with questions instead...

OK, so for a kid of the era, Sunny had a lot of luck. She was born in the so called Genocide City, and most likely her parents were killed soon after. But she survived against all odds, another fleeing family picked her up and raised her, and she had a happy childhood. At age nine she got to know she had an older brother somewhere, and left her home to find him. Along the way she learned that her brother had become famous under the nickname ”the world’s fastest hedgehog” and that he was known for, time and again, striking down the mad scientist that once caused their family to be torn apart.

A reasonably bright young girl, Sunny still suffers from a lack of education (never cared about things like geography and politics much) and a tendency to be irrational and rash. Just like Sonic, she doesn’t have any regrets and doesn’t look back, but maybe she’s more interested in her origin and family than he is. She definitely has a bigger need for a home than Sonic does. Even though she likes every bit of her journey, her only reason for travelling in the first place is finding him.

On shore Sunny can’t reach very high speeds, she also has a way of tripping on her own shoelaces, which somehow manage to untie themselves all the time. In water, however, she’s the fastest of the bunch and also the supplest mover. Her spin is more precise(in the need of a pin-point cut) than Sonic’s, but her one back quill is so thin it breaks much easier than his.
Since she loves water, swimming is Sunny’s main joy, but she also likes disco dancing a lot. Like most of our adventurers, she always wears the same clothes. Her one personal item is a plastic-coated photo of her parents and Sonic, stuck inside one of her gloves.

Sunny thinks everyone deserves a second chance, and that if you don’t give them that, it could mean you never gave them one at all. She’s convinced there’s something good inside each and every being, and that all it needs is a chance to come out. Thanks to that faith, she helps bring Silver(sonic) over to the heroes’ side, but she goes in way over her head when she believes the same thing could happen to Metal, putting both herself and the others in danger.
