This is another history/Anime Crossover pic I did.
A few Anime characters are reenacting a period in history, the golden age of whaling. Now three things inspired this pic. One was Gregory Peck''s version of "Moby Dick." Second was the Whaler''s Village in Lahaina. And third was a series of sea shanties that I was listening to. It was to commemorate the hundreds of willing men who died alongside the noble leviathans of the sea. The song chosen to match this pictorial is a shanty called "I Must Live Alone." If you listen carefully to this lamenting tune, as well as read the lyrics, you might find a haunting sense of sorrow, as you imagine the loved ones at home awaiting their father, their brother, their husband, etc, who would never return home again.
Also, can you identify the six characters in the picture? And why would I use those particular individuals?
