Description
This is a pic of Alphonse and Edward portraying a famous portrait titled "The Two Princes," which was created by John Everett Millais.
In 1483, two young princes of England's royal family mysteriously disappeared. There is a great deal of controversy of what happened to them. However, perhaps the most famous portrayal of their fate descends from William Shakespeare's famous play "Richard III" in which Richard orders the murder of the two boys. In Act 4; scene 3, James Tyrrell, one of Richard's hired hands, gives a haunting description of the princes' fates. The most famous of portrayed fates was that that the two boys were smothered with pillows in their bed as they slept.
This famous scene will act as a backdrop for the next movie clip.
And now here's something you may not have known. The elder brother of the two was also named Edward. Ergo, Edward and Alphonse Elric were placed as the characters. Even now, the fates of Edward V and his younger brother, Richard Duke of York is still being argued over even to this day. They were aged around 10 and 13 when they were supposedly murdered.
Sorry...no automale this time...
