There have already been several accounts recorded, in which you, the accuse,have sought secret rendezvous points for shameless interloping, without any thought of regret or remorse upon the individual that you have dared seduce. Therefore, by order of the nobility of this town, to retain the tranquility and dignity of this fair settlement, you, the accused, have been sentenced to hang by the neck until dead. May God have mercy on your soul!"

I wonder which one of these guys is the culprit?

And furthermore,in the real middle ages didn't they have countless people have trysts and premarital sex (provided that women of high stand weren't involved...or at the least not get busted.) Or as long as no one was being forcibly molested then wouldn't hanging a guy for being a playboy seem a bit out there?

I mean the last time I checked in Medieval Europe,as long as a man in society didn't comment sodomy,Molestation,seduce a woman of a higher rank,(especially a married one). Then it wouldn't be surprising for a guy to have flings with lots of willing maidens and no one making that big of a deal.

Though if so then hanging would seem extreme,at the least wouldn't the guy get a day or two in the stocks...or get excommunicated.

That is if I recall correctly. anyway this is an amazing drawing,very excellent costumes.
