wow i can't believe you didn't win. i mean, everytime i look at your art i wanna cry like a little kid. Its gorgeous how you can do this kind of art work with a pen and crayolas. Its people like you who give me courage to do well with my artwork. Because if someone can do it, another one can too! *looks at your comments* Your so lucky to have so many fans; i'm proud of my 10 comments on one of my pics. So yeah you'll prolly won't ever read this cuz i'm at the bottom of the list, but thank you for being a great artist, because it makes me happy to see great pictures like this to inspire my work. Jeez, you didn't win? I think judges who do contests at like resturants or bookstores always pick the 'not very good'. Once I entered a drawing of Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog for a drwing contest at a Longhorn resturant. It didn't win.*cries*

Gawd this is soo beautiful as are all yer work..i dont know too much about DN Angel but I saw an amv of it and it looks like a really good anime 
 
..anywho it sux u didnt win but yeah most people would see this type of artwork as kids stuff but its not its great art!!

not sure about the details of the contest.. but for some reason, Waldenbooks doesn't strike me as the type of business that would appreciate anime artwork over other .. erm... "fine arts" 
 
I'd like to say I was surprised you didn't win.. but considering that most people still see comic-art as "kids stuff".. i'm not really. 
 
but.. sooner or later we will have our day, when this stuff is seen as good as any other art form..

You are so amazing with colored pencil! I have to know, have you been offered a job yet? Like, to draw stuff? Amazing, as always. Either the person who won was uber-fantastic ten times more than you, OR the judges pulled that "hurr-hurr let's let someone young/unexperienced win so they don't feel bad" crap.

Well you can't win them all. Some of the contests I want to enter in..I don't bother especially the ones you enter in online..ya know for ff7ac.net...and those sites related to it. There is no way I can ever beat you. 
 
Anywho...the picture is really beautiful and I am gettin' into reading the mangas now. And I am as curious as Vampire Elf...how old are you? If you don't mind us asking that is.
