It's hard to believe this isn't an acrylic, oil or poster painting. The flesh especially looks hand painted. Is the softening of the focus near the tips of the wings intentional? She's a fascinating invention of the imagination. Demure, but a bit scary at the same time. I see metaphorically significant similarities between the talons of her feet and the sharpness of her fingernails. Not sure about the dissembodied hand at the top. Is that included as a close up of the fingernails or is it part of the composition? Beautiful richness of colouring. Nice rendition of feathers. Sumptuous work.
