Kimonos on the living are wrapped right over left. However, Death represents death and the dead, and the dead have their kimono's wrapped left over right.
As to the horses:
Rev 6:2. "...before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest." So the first is a conqueror--one who gains victory.
Rev 6:4. "...a fiery red [horse]. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword." You can read the first half as war and the second as slaughter. In the end, they amount to almost the same thing.
Rev 6:5. "...before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand." A person holding scales would be a judge, and a judge delivers justice.
Rev 6:8. "...before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him." Straight forward enough.
