Don't be sad, it's Carnival!

What to say about this one... I've been working on it for maybe a week and a half (on-off, of course). I had drawn the lineart a month or two ago, and I was really happy with it, but I had no idea what to do with it. So, eventually I finally scanned it and started working on it in photoshop. I decided to use a more cartoony style of colouring/shading, and I must say I'm really quite happy with how it turned out. Looking at it, her face isn't perfect and I wish I hadn't darkened the background quite so much around her feet, but all in all, I think it's good. I will definitely be using this colouring style in the future.
