Amy Rose...?

Okay... so the new Amy is cute and everything, but I have always prefered the fading memory of the old Amy Rose... Or did she really exist...
I remember her having more personality, and she used a different weapon. A crossbow, I think^_^; She definitely used a bow...
Problem is... I'm not totally sure if she did look like this...
I know she was older, and had better sense than the new Amy.
She actually had a brain...
Even if this is a fragment of a memory, I still prefer it over the almost senseless little girl with a crush on the main character~_~

Remember when the whole world of Sonic the Hedgehog didn't revolve only around Sonic?... The new series just seems that way to me...

I'd like to know if anyone else can remember her like this... It was about 10-ish years ago...
I feel quite old when I think about it...-_-;
