This here cutie I adopted from DPfanatic0607. :)
Ain't he cute? His real name is Kahekili, but he hates it, so he prefurs that everyone call him Hokulele, which means shooting star in Hawaii. XD
I changed a couple things on him. ^^U This is a VERY VERY quick sketch. Very quick. o_________o
Tuntun422 brough some pressing matters to my attention. XD I hadn't planned the story out too thoroughtly before hand, so I guess I should elaborate now. ^^U I had to change a couple things around... that there is one of my downfalls. I don't plan things very well. XD XD XD
The better-for-the-most-part-story-with-some-planning:
Hokulele hates humans, but not just because he has no one else to hate, ot just because he can. his reason is an understandable one.
Hokulele was born a purebred husky to two purebred husky parents. That, though, is not what he is today. As a pup, he was stolen from his mother and father when he was only one month old. Hokulele was taken away by a group of merciless scientists that conducted extreme and vicious experiments on dogs. When they saw Hokulele, they just had to have him.
When Hokulele was placed illegaly under their care, they infused his DNA was Great Dane DNA and modified wolf DNA. The Great Dane DNA caused him to grow much larger and very strong. The wolf DNA gave him natural instincts of fighting, sharper claws, fluffier fur, longer leeth, a bushier tail, light feet, and incredible scenting and hearing skills.
The modified part of the wolf DNA was supposed to contain acids and protiens to enhance his skills even further. It did, but in turn it had some very bizarre side-effects. A particular amino acid had fused with another substance, and it caused his strong black nose to turn yellow. A certain protien further caused his nose to develop purple spots. The same amino acid/ substance mix that turned his nose yellow, initiated a yellow band of color around his pupil in his once very beautiful, piercing light blue eyes. After futher maturing, an orange band around the yellow developed.
The wolf DNA that was infused with his own was very flawed. The scientists who had made it didn't pay much attention to what had went in it, only furthering the wierd side-effects.
One particular substance that wasn't supposed to be there was a microscopic nuclear particle that had chipped off of a bomb. That particle when a long way. It caused the color of his paw pads to change with his mood, such as a mood ring would. Wierd side-effects kept poppong up as the DNA and Hokulele both matured.
While Hokulele was held captive by the scientists, he developed a great hatred of all humans. His vicious attemps to kill them and his thunderous growls and raging barks earned him the name of Kahekili. He despised the name as much as he did humankind.
The scientists wanted Hokulele as their personal assassin. He was deffinately qualified enough. So, they exposed him to severe and harsh training that only sharped his alread developed skills. Hokulele grew faster, stronger, lighter on his feet, he had more agility, stronger-than-diamond-teeth that cut like blades, sharper-than-a-knife claws, and an even more sensitive sense of smell and hearing, and an even sharper eyesight. Hokulele was trained to kill, made to kill, and kill he did.
Every night, to protect themselves from being brutally slaughtered in their sleep, the scientists decided to lock Hokulele up and an inescapable cell that even Hokulele couldn't get out of. Inside the barred cell was a single small window that he stared out every night, gazing into the stars. Hokulele never got a wink of sleep in his entire stay with the scientists. Every time he saw a shooting star, his heart would leap, and he would wish for a chance to get out of his hell. That chance came with the careless custiodian that was supposed to lock his cell and never did. Hokulele escaped and disappeared into the night without a trace left in his wake.
He later changed his name to Hokulele, since he could not stand the 'Kahekili' that the humans had branded him with, and now he spends his days roaming the world, doing as he pleases.
He recently developed the skill to talk just as humans do. The DNA is still maturing.
Would it ever end?
~~~
Wouldn't you hate us too? :)
Thank you, Tuntun422 for pointing that out to me! I would have never planned out the story had you not said anything. XD
Anyways, I'm still ironing out a few minor things, like how long he stayed with the scientists and such, but it's coming. Also, when his DNA was fused with all of that other stuff, it didn't come without any pain; in fact, he's still in pain, but he's had to learn to live with it. I still have no idea which of the side-effects are gonna just be superficial, and which are not. O_________o?
MORE DETAILS LATER!!!! XD Three a.m. XD I hope this answers all of your questions Tuntun422. :) It sure answered mine. XD XD
Enjoy!
