Angel Kitty

A few days ago, my aunt gave my mother and I a kitten to nurture back to health. He was a fluffy gray kitty, and he was very sick. The fleas he'd had since birth had caused him to develop anemia. Two of his siblings had died from it already.

His breath became shallow and short, and by two-thirty in the morning, he died. I had him held against my chest, and he got until I could barely feel him breathing, and then he stopped, and it was like her was choking. I rubbed his belly, patted on his back, rubbed his throat... And I prayed to god, to the Egyptian god, the Greek gods, the Muslim god, the devil, and any other higher power that would have had the power to keep him alive, and I am not a religious person. At all. I was suprized at how much I cried. :/ I hate crying.

Even though I only had him for a day, i got really attached to him. I called him Angel after he died.
