Tribute to Spyro

Description

Some of you may recall that small piece of trivia mentioned with my early dragons. Back in 1999 when I first started dragons, what did I use for my reference? Forget high fantasy like D&D, the sci-fantasy of McCaffery novels, and every dragon that ever existed, I based my dragons on one source and one source alone: the classic PSX game Spyro the Dragon.

I've come a long way since then, having arrived at a firm idea of what my dragons are. Reflecting on those old days, I guess it's only fitting that for one of my latest drawings I should draw out none other than Spyro according to my rules and style of dragon. And this is how he looks.

Cool. I dont know why I never tried to draw Spyro. I probably could if I did. Anyway, good job.

i luv this pic! and i luv spyro! because he truly holds a special place in my heart because i am a serious gamer lol i luv video games and spyro the dragon was the FIRST ever game i played! And i have played all the others since then Spyro just rocks!

This pic is fantastic. Your style for dragons is certianly very degnified to say the least. A lot of dragons are drawn in such a way that they look like monsterous killers. This style gives them a kind of royalty and elegance.
