Sea Dragon

Description

Number three of my current dragon series, here is a sea dragon. Being water-based creatures, sea dragons have different proportions from other dragons, and are slightly smaller as well. They have gills (hidden near their crest horns) for underwater breathing, and also lungs for out-of-water breathing. They can endure being out of water for various lengths of time, but as they are not built for life on land, they risk suffering from dehydration or even heatstroke.

Quieter and less social than other dragon kinds, sea dragons have two weapons at their disposal: sonar and electrical breath.

PS: For those who have asked, sea dragons are unable to actually fly like other dragons; their wings are not strong enough for it. Even so, they swim far better & faster than all other kinds of dragon.

Hmm. Somehow, I'd expected it to be blue. *shrug*<br />

Love that tail. And those wings. Can they "fly" like flying fish over the water, or are they confined totally to the waves? The limbs, too, look skinnier than those of your other dragons. It's good to see differences. =D
