eh..another older piece from last year. Someone asked me to draw James Marsters (I think he plays "Spike" on BTVS??) I'm an X-Files gal myself *g* Anyway, done in graphite pencils 2b thru 6b on heavy weight medium texture paper. Scanner really has a tough time with textures. Oh well..

gah...I know this response is really late...I wasn't receiving notifications for awhile. Anyway, I did not use a grid on this portrait but I do use grids for weird face angles and full body portraits.
