This is a portrait I completed recently for a portrait drawing class I will be teaching in January for young people. I was trying to pick subjects they would be interested in drawing. I hope Avril will be one. Completed in graphite pencils 2b thru 6b on medium Strathmore paper 14x17.

This is truly amazing, the shading and details are just so awesome.It just looks so real, like her eyes, the shine in her eyes makes them look so real like 3D.I can't believe how good you are, I mean really you are a outstanding artist.Hm mm there is some thing about her hair that does not seem right, I can't put my finger on it, but I think it's because it has no shine like a real person's hair would have.Oh man I just love the way you did her lips, the shine the shading and every thing.I could go on for ever about this drawing, but then you might have to kill me.He he.But in other words this is really a good drawing, I have to ad it to my Favorites, so I will.*Favorites Beautiful drawing*
