I particularly like the hair and the folds of her clothing. So often people try too hard to make hair realistic, and that tends to end badly. Somehow, the hair and drapery on your angel remind me of Leonardo da Vinci's approach, that excessive detail is unnecessary to create an elegant and expressive image that is very believable. This is also true of the skull she's holding. It's too bad that you can't color it, but even if you find the original, I hope you keep this version up as well.lotrluv on December 9, 2004, 8:48:45 AM
