Lightning: *snarls at Lumi, and moves to attack both of them*

Me: Light was really attatched to Strike. like, it wasn't just the fact the both his kids were dead that drove him over the edge (though that certainly helped), but the fact that he was killed in such a cruel manner just made it that much worse.

Eclipse: *lets out a yowl of anger, pupils shrunk to the size of pinpricks*

Eclipse: *joining them* excellent. Of course, it's imparative that we avoid striking at Lightning at ALL COSTS. Remember - Skye, Strike, and Twilight stay with me. We will try to convince him to release the hosts. We CANNOT remove Shriku at that time if we want to be successful. When he agrees, returning the hosts to their proper forms, THEN we need the Thief to join us, and destroy Shriku.

There's also another, slightly smaller fear of losing his friend's respect, and acceptance of him, however, this one is the least fear he's worried about. It's more like one of those fears shoved deep within the darkness of his mind.

Me: *nods, holding in hysterical laughter*
