Knuckles: hullo shadow. Long time no see.

Shadow: what are you doing here?

A. Sonic: we need your help re-capturing Ashura so that he is no longer a danger to Mobius, and... your son.

Shadow: !!! Wh-what do you mean??

A. Sonic: He's hiding out in this very building, and has tricked Eclipse and Twilight into thinking he's their friend... if we don't act, he'll hurt them. Will you join us?

Shadow: ... o-of course...

Knuckles: Great. so now what, we sweep the building and track 'im down?

A. Sonic: yup. If you didn't see what he looks like through the news, he looks exactly like my, but with weird black patterns all over his body, and he's green instead of blue.

Shadow: alright.

A. Sonic: ... Knuckles... Tails is siding with Ashura...

Knuckles: wait, Tails did WHAT?! D8

A. Sonic: *angrily speaks through bared teeth* I SAID... TAILS... is SIDING... with ASHURA...

Shadow: right... the fox that used to follow you around...

A. Sonic: *glares at Shadow*

Knuckles: but WHY?! D:

A. Sonic: *snapping at Knuckles* HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW?? D8<

A. Sonic: He's siding with THEM, that's all I care about! D8<

Knuckles: *taken aback by his outburst* .....

A. Sonic: *looks down at his shoes* ... sorry...

Shadow: we get it. Your stressed out.

A. Sonic: ... I guess...

Knuckles: ....i think we should get moving.

A. Sonic: *nods* r-right... I'll search the top floor, and down, Shadow, take the left hall, Knuckles, you go to the right.

Shadow: *nods and speeds off*

A. Sonic: *dissappears*

Knuckles: .....he's changed.... *runs off to explore HN's right wing*

Me: med wing's to the left.

Shadow: *slowly walks through the left hall, lifting his ears fully up, listening for signs of Ashura's presence. He reaches the med room* ...

A. Sonic: *invisably visiting every room*

Knuckles: *searching*

Shadow: *enters the med room, and notices Ashura* !!

A. Sonic: *senses that Shadow had found Ashura. He teleports himself to the black hedgehog*

Shadow: this is him, right?

A. Sonic: *nods, glaring at the resting glitch* I'll get Knuckles. *teleports to Knuckles* Knux, we've got him. Follow me.

Eclipse: well... if he's in as bad a shape as Mr. Prower says... than yeah, definetally.

Ashura: *...*

Twilight: <kay. good thing his room's on the first floor....> *pads into HNHQ*

Eclipse: *follows behind*

Ashura: *...*

Twilight: *scratches at jacob's door* ...

Jacob: *door open* ...? Who's THAT?

Eclipse: this is Ashura -

Jacob: the one that broke out of ALPHA BASE?? D8

Eclipse: he's ok - he's with us. It's just... he's in really bad shape, right now... we need you to help him...

Jacob: *hesitant*

Eclipse: PLEASE...

Jacob: alright, alright. Get him to the med room - hurry!

Twilight: *TO THE MED ROOM!*

Jacob and Eclipse: *puts Ashura on the bed*

Ashura: *...*

Jacob: for now, he needs rest...

Twilight: *returns to normal* okay.

Jacob: what happened to him...?

Eclipse: well, he was drugged... considering that he's dehydrated and malnourished, the facility at Alpha Base don't exactly take very good care of they're prisoners, PLUS he didn't even bother helping himself before running off to find Sonic... oh, and he used his powers to help us escape, which, no doubt completelly drained him. :(

Ashura: *...*

Twilight: long story short, he's EXHAUSTED.

Jacob: right then. That's easy to help. *hooks Ashura up to what he needs to be hooked up with (water, and such)* He's going to be out for a while.

Eclipse: obviously.

Ashura: *...*

Twilight: we'll leave him in your care then. *worried, not too much for Ashura, but more about SONIC and his WRATH*

Eclipse: *worried about the same thing* ... come on, Twilight... let's leave Jacob and Ashura alone...

Jacob: I'm certain that he'll wake up in a few days... just give him time...

Eclipse: will do.

Ashura: *...*

Twilight: *leaves* .......

Eclipse: *also leaves* ... I'm worried, Twilight...

Twilight: about ashura? or about Sonic? personally, I'm worried about BOTH....

Eclipse: ... I'm worried for Ashura, yes... I mean... that LOOK that Sonic gave him... it's like he wanted ti KILL him... and as for Sonic, himself... that's just not like him... he'd NEVER attack us... ... maybe Ashura IS affecting Sonic...

Twilight: but how would that even work...? I mean, is it a mental-slash-psychological thing or is it like, some kind of physical change....?

Eclipse: Sonic's made of the same psychic energy as your basic ghost - and probably, it's a more powerful version of it... or at least, that's what Jacob as told me before... it's just a guess, but I think Ashura is causing a "glitch" with how Sonic acts and thinks... and... well that's dangerous for HIM... not just Ashura... did you see how the tips f Sonic's wings were black-ish?

Twilight: yeah, i noticed that... it's as if Ashura was corrupting him just by being near him....

Eclipse: I'm thinking that... those few black feathers... that was just a warning... if Sonic continues to act like this... he... he could be banished to Hell, or become a fallen angel, or SOMETHING...

Twilight: .....we need to keep them separate....

Eclipse: two superpowered beings, one hellbent on finding, and eliminating the other one? ... Twilight... ... that's impossible...

Twilight: i don't want to see Sonic fall from grace like that. we have to at least TRY....

Eclipse: ... right...

Me: btw, wanna be Knuckles? Sonic's going to recruit him in helping him track down and destroy Ashura... or at least throw him back into Alpha Base.

Me: HECK yeah. it'll take me a bit to get in character tho. is he crazy knux or regular knux?

Twilight: ......

Me: regular Knux, besides the fact that he's now, like, 80-something. Also, like Tails, Sonic has never visited him.

Eclipse: ...

MEANWHILE, ANGEL ISLAND

A. Sonic: *heads to the Master Emerald shrine*

Me: are we using archie timeline? 'cuz if we are, then Lara-Su'd be the one there. just making sure.

Me: nope.

Me: kk, just makin' sure.

Knuckles: *laying on his back in front of the emerald, staring at the sky* .....

A. Sonic: *now can be easily seen from Knuckles's spot*

Knuckles: ? *looks open, and suddenly sits up in surpris when he sees him* Sonic...?!

A. Sonic: *makes eye contact with the old echidna, and smiles warmly at him. He calls out to his old friend* HEY THERE, KNUCKLE-HEAD!

Knuckles: *stands, gaping* SONIC!!! But.... weren't you DEAD?! D:>

A. Sonic: *runs up the stone steps to Knuckles* um... I still am, technically... uh... I'm an angel now, Knux...

Knuckles: *totally not believing him* and ANGEL?! that's... that's CRAZY! D:

A. Sonic: yeah, really... XD ... uh... hey, Knuckles... I need you to help me... did you hear about Ashura, the glich that escaped Alpha Base?

Knuckles: yeah, i heard. sounds like he's on the loose again.

A. Sonic: ... I need your help hunting him down... he's tricked my godson and his wife into thinking that he's their FRIENDS... no doubt he'll strike at them at some point... I'm also going to ask for Shadow's help...

Knuckles: ....*nods* okay. i'll help. you have to let me call up the Chaotix first, though. SOMEONE'S gotta watch the master emerald. >:/

A. Sonic: *his expression lightens up* th-the Chaotix are still together? <:D

Knuckles: yeah, you didn't know? *smirks* get your head out of the clouds, Sonic! :P Vector tends to stay out of most of the action, but everyone's still together. *laughs* you should see charmy!

A. Sonic: how much did the kid improve? :D

Knuckles: *grins* "leaps and bounds" would be a huge undertsatement. XD

A. Sonic: heh... I guess I really wasn't paying that much attention to them in Heaven... XD ... ... well, on a more serious note, once you get the Chaotix here, we need to head out and convince Shadow to help us lock Ashura back up, even if it means... fighting... his own... ... son... oohhhh sweet Mobius, I can see where this is going to be a problem... but... but we need him. Like, a LOT. Getting near Ashura will be next-to-impossible without him...

Knuckles: a'ight.

*LATER. THE CHAOTIX HAVE SHOWN UP AND ARE IN CHARGE OF THE MSTER EMERALDDDDDD..... KNUX AND SONIC ARE LOOKING FOR SHADZY*

"Shadzy": *is in his room in HNHQ*

A. Sonic: *has lead Knux there, and knocks on Shadow's door*

Shadow: *opens it* ... Sonic...? *notices Knuckles* Knuckles...??

Scientist 1: yes... but that's not all... we... we could hook him up to a COMPUTER, and REPROGRAM him...

Scientist 2: y'mean... -

Scientist 1: yes! We could change his memories... his personality... what makes him tick... who he likes and dislikes... EVERYTHING about him!

Scientist 2: BRILLIANT! We can use that!

Eclipse: ... uh... ... ... YOU FIX HIM UP RIGHT NOW, WE'RE TAKING HIM!

Scientist 1: you can't do that! We're exami(poop)nating him!

Eclipse: I WILL RIP YOUR FACE OFF.

Me: *dies laughing*

Twilight: *FACEPALM*

Me: oh, I see you noticed that. :P

Eclipse: JUST FIX HIM!!

Scientist 1: y-yes sir! O_O *starts closing up Ashura's open head*

Scientist 2: uh... uh... *scoots awaaaayyy from them (and secretly pushes the emergency button)*

Twilight: *keeping watch outside the door*

Eclipse: *wwatching the scientists*

Ashura: *getting fixed up*

Scientist 1: *doing the fixing*

Scientist 2: *waits for help, shaking*

Twilight: *watching/listening for guards*

*ten minutes later*

Scientist 1: *finishes* ... there...

Eclipse: *nods and takes Ashura, dragging him off the examination table* oof! Twilight, I need you to help me with him!

Ashura: *doesn't stir*

Robot Guards: *enter the room, and start firing their guns*

Scientist 1: DON'T SHOOT! DON'T SHOOT! YOU MIGHT HIT ONE OF US!!

Another Robot: *instead, gets out a sword, and starts swiping at them*

D.Twilight: *donkey-kicks the robot* get him on my back? *lowers herself closer to the ground*

Eclipse: *puts Ashura on Twilight's back*

D.Twilight: *quickly gets out of the room, bolting down the hallway towards the window they came in through* <TAILS, ECLIPSE! COME ON!>

Tails: Right behind you!!

Eclipse: Wait up!! D:

Robo-guards: *behind them*

A. Sonic: *BLOCKS TWILIGHT'S PATH OMG!!*

Everyone: D8 !!! *immedietally stops running and stares in horror*

Tails: ...S-Sonic... y-you... *can't wrap his mind around the fact that Sonic is standing right there, in front of his very eyes*

A. Sonic: T-Tails?? D:>

D.Twilight: *steps out from between Tails and Sonic, so they can see each other fully* .....

Sonic and Tails: *stare at each other for a LOOOOOOOOONG time*

Tails: b-but... y-you're not... dead...?

A. Sonic: s-still dead... I'm an angel now...

Tails and Sonic: ... ... ...

A. Sonic: *rubs the back of his neck* it's... it's been a long time... hasn't it...?

Tails: *looks down, rubbing his arm* y-yeah...

A. Sonic: uh... *looks somewhat hurt* why are you siding with Ashura...?

Tails: Siding with - ...? *looks back at Ashura, and remembers exactly where he is, and breaks out of his shock* S-Sonic, it's wrong to be locking him up just because he lacks control over his powers.

A. Sonic: *looks downwards, the ceiling light above him darkening his features, matching his falling mood* ... I see... you haven't changed at all...

Tails: I grew a backbone, Sonic - I can stand up for myself. I'm not afraid of you.

A. Sonic: *still not looking up* is that what I am now...? Something to not be afraid of...?

Tails: let Ashura go.

A. Sonic: *not looking up* I see why our friendship went so foul before my death... we had such different views in a few areas of conversation...

Tails: Let Ashura go.

A. Sonic: *still not looking up* We meet again, and it's still all business with you... "Mr. Prower"...

Tails: LET ASHURA GO, SONIC!

A. Sonic: *when he looks up at them again, there is a frightening anger in his expression* YOU'RE NOT SEEING THE BIG PICTURE HERE, ARE YOU PIXEL-BRAIN??

Tails: *hasn't heard that name in a long time, and it brings back memories. His backbone is dissappearing* I-I can't l-let you take a-away his freedom...

A. Sonic: FINE THEN!! SIDE WITH THEM!! I WILL MAKE SURE YOU ALL DON'T SEE THE INSIDE OF THIS PLACE AGAIN!! *his features mutate until he becomes that hideous, disturbing form that you think is scary, Mish*

Eclipse: !!!

Ashura: *waking up* ...urgh...

Eclipse: *looks back at Ashura: DDD8 !!!!!!

Me: *is now going to have nightmares*

D.Twilight: !! D: *so only eclipse hears* <....c-can you hald him back long enough for me to run...?>

Eclipse: *whispers to Twilight* I... I don't think I can...

A. Sonic: GRAH!! *charges at Eclipse, the only thing driving him is rage*

Eclipse: *dodges* SONIC, STOP! I KNOW THIS UPSETS YOU, BUT IF YOU STAY LIKE THIS, YOU CAN REALLY HURT SOMEONE!! D8>

A. Sonic: *his voice is now monsterous and corpse-like* THEN GET OUT, AND LEAVE THE GLITCH!! *slashes at him*

Eclipse: *dodges again* D:>

Ashura: *now fully awake, but still somewhat drugged, and exhausted* Wh... where am I...?

Tails: *horrified by this whole thing* DDDDD8

Twilight: <d-don't move, ashura...! SONIC! STOP!>

A. Sonic: NO!! *sends a wave of fear into all of them*

Eclipse and Tails: *find that they now can't move because they are literally FROZEN IN FEAR* !!! DDDD8

Ashura: *is unnaffected because he's a glitch* ... ... *shaking, he gets off Twilight, stands up, almost falls down, but stands tall once more, using the hallway's wall for support* ...a...are you... going to... hurt them...?

A. Sonic: YOU STAY OUT OF THIS, GLITCH! D8<

Ashura: *shakes his head slowly* y...you can't... stop... them... nor... can you stop... me... *there is a determination in his tired voice*

D.Twilight: *is practically frozen as well, the daemons not providing much assistance as they are equally terrified* <d-d-don't....>

Eclipse and Tails: *still can't move*

Ashura: *walks a step closer to Sonic, swaying* >:( ...

A. Sonic: You're REALLY asking for me to blast you, glitch... *the tips of his wings have turned black*

Eclipse: *notices this* !

D.Twilight: *fighting her fear as best as she can* <D-DON'T!> D:>

A. Sonic: *charges at Ashura* GRAAAAAHH!!

Ashura: *immedietally holds his arms out, and the air around Sonic turns solid. He has frozen Sonic in place*

A. Sonic: DDDD8< ????!!!??? *now in a huge ice block, he can't keep the fear-creating aura going, and it fades* K-K-GK!

Ashura: *stands there, panting. Using his powers like that while he had such a block on them already, plus being still affected by the drugs took a lot out of him* hff... hff...

Eclipse: ...Ashura...

Ashura: *his eyes roll into his head, and he falls down, unconcious*

Tails and Eclipse: !!!

Twilight: !! <quick!! everyone get on! before sonic gets free again!> D8>

Eclipse: *pulls Ashura up onto Twilight, then gets on, himself*

Tails: *literally flies out the window*

A. Sonic: *glares at them through the ice*

D.Twilight: *flinches at the glare, then jumps out the window after Tails, landing with a slight bump on the ground below. she then runs back to HNHQ as if all of hell was after her*

Ashura: *doesn't stir*

Tails: *while flying, he checks Ashura over* when was the last time he ATE?? Ashura is malnourished, AND dehydrated... plus he's now suffering from extreme exhaustion, and the drugs are still in his system...

Eclipse: so he was in worse shape than we thought... the poor guy must've been through a LOT in those fifty years of jail-time...

D.Twilight: *STILL RUNNING* <hopefully jake'll be able to fix him.... Are you staying with us, Miles?>

Tails: of course I am. Don't take me lightly >:/

Eclipse: *makes sure Ashura stays on*

Ashura: *...*

D.Twilight: *slows down as they reach HNHQ*

Eclipse: *looks around a corner into the hall*

Tails: *freezes up* !!

Twilight: *turns back to normal* ...are you Miles Prower?

Tails: *turns to them, confused* ... yes...?

Eclipse: we need answers.

Twilight: sheesh, eclipse. you could at least TRY to sound less menacing.

Eclipse: *shrugs* *simply* we need answers.

Tails: ... um... about WHAT, exactly?

Eclipse: Ashura.

Tails: ... ... ... no. Sorry. *starts to walk off again*

Eclipse: WAIT! *runs in front of Tails, blocking his path*

Tails: I'll call the guards on you... >:/

Twilight: Miles, please! we need to know all we can about ashura...

Tails: I'm still trying to forget that whole ordeal. Once again - leave NOW, or the guards get informed of your presence... >:(

Eclipse: wow, you're REALLY bitter, aren'tchu?

Twilight: ECLIPSE! JEEZ! Mr Prower, look. Ashura's in serious trouble right now. we need as much info as we can get if we want to be able to help him.

Tails: *a flash of concern flashes on his face for a few seconds* ... ... alright... fine... a long time ago, me and... *groans* me and SONIC ran through Emerald Hill zone, and came across a rather odd mobian who looked exactly like Sonic, except in pattern, color, and clothing... at first, Sonic was confused... but it only took a few seconds for that confusion to turn to sudden HATE to that poor, innocent creature... I remember so clearly... there were so many racsist comments, and yelling flying around, that, eventually, it was all going to lead to a fight... I was gonna stop it... I was ready to stand up to Sonic... to tell him that he was WRONG... that he shouldn't be beating on Ashura the way he was... I would've... but then Sonic gave me SUCH a glare... *shudders* it was that glare that always told me to back down... 'you crossed the line, Tails, time to back up a few steps'... so... I let them fight... I did nothing... and... suprisingly, Ashura won... he... he had actually managed to GIVE SONIC A HEART ATTACK... if you can believe that... *chuckles* ... I screamed like a little girl, I was so scared... and... well... Ashura looked scared, too...

Eclipse: ... he... he can't control his powers...

Tails: noo... no he couldn't...

A. Sonic: ugh... I'm regretting taking you guys here...

Eclipse: he needs help!!

Ashura: ...

Twilight: you can't just turn your back on him, he needs help!!!

A. Sonic: HE IS GETTING HELP!!

Eclipse: HOW??

A. Sonic: do you even GET what those scientists are trying to do?? They're trying to take his powers away!!

Eclipse: how does that HELP him??

A. Sonic: no powers means he can't accidentally kill people.

Twilight: it's as if someone experimented on you and took your speed away! as if they too shadow's chaos power away! as if they ripped the daemons out of me! does that sound FAIR to you?!

Eclipse: *nods*

A. Sonic: DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO THAT LAST PART??

Twilight: don't you think i accidentally killed people when the daemons took me over?!

A. Sonic: do YOU want the daemons taken away? Do you?? I'm sure they can! >:(

Eclipse: *can't help but stare at Ashura*

Ashura: *...*

Twilight: *frustrated that sonic isn't getting the point* LET ASHURA GO, SONIC!!

D.Twilight: *speeds off to emerald hill zone*

Eclipse: oshi-! *HANGS ON*

D.Twilight: sorry~!

A. Sonic: *walking out of Alpha Base, Ashura is nowhere to be seen*

D.Twilight: <there!> *skids to a stop right in front of sonic*

Eclipse: where is he, Sonic?? D:<

A. Sonic: *jerks a thumb at Alpha Base* already in his cell. It's tighter this time. They're also using a new form of gas on him.

Eclipse: WHAT?? D:>

D.Twilight: *growls* <you have to let him out. Sonic! this is wrong!!>

A.Sonic: sorry. Can't. You can see him though, if you like.

Eclipse: ...

Twilight: <nrrgh....>

Eclipse: take us to him.

A. Sonic: fine. AND DO NOT TRY BREAKING HIM OUT.

Eclipse: >.>;

A. Sonic: follow me. *walks in*

Twilight: *turns back to normal and follows him*

*they walk down a few hallways, turn a few times, when they reach Ashura's cell. There is a small frame where a door should be, but instead, there are bars made out of a green electrical energy*

Ashura: *his arms and legs are strapped down to a slab of steel with wheels on the bottom (for when he needs to be wheeled out and experimented on) in the middle of the tiny closet-sized cell. He only looks half awake, and putting up very little effort to escape, which means he's been recently tranqualized*

Eclipse: !! Ashura! D:>

A. Sonic: he can't hear you right now... he's been drugged.

Twilight: D: !!! .......this.. this is horrible...!!!

A. Sonic: how is this horrible?

Eclipse: WHAT??

Ashura: *his ear twitches*

Twilight: who the hell are YOU and what did you do with our Sonic?! how is it NOT horrible!! Ashura's a mobian, not a science project!!

A. Sonic: HE'S A GLITCH!! HE SHOULDN'T EXSIST IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

Eclipse: D8< !!

Ashura: *his now-dull red eyes look up and find the three* ...

Twilight: HE STILL EXISTS, SONIC!! HE DESERVES A CHANCE AT LIKE JUST AS MUCH AS ANYONE ELSE DOES!!

Eclipse: *gets on*
