Another reason why Immortal Rain is amazing: the top right corner. It's got immortal angels, bio projects, and shady corporations. It's got war, bounty hunters, and legends.
To be honest, if you pick up Immortal Rain, you'll probably notice a lot of tangents between it and Iris. I never did it consciously, but a lot of Iris was based off the inital roughs for Immortal Rain. And it's just as cool, if not more so.

Ahh, and yes, Machika is quite the androgynous girl. She ends up wearing a tux to sneak into an auction... poor girl. But she looks cool in a tux. Isn't that kinda odd...? XD;
Oh, and the guy she elbowed in the guts... Burakio, I think it was. He was boring. And burly. So he didn't deserve a face. Sorry! :P

I've been considering reading it for a while, but there's always something else I need to buy.. ;_; ::tends to buy whole series regardless of no money:: Spending every cent to your name on manga does wonders ^_^
I highly envy you're amazing pose skills and hav no utter clue to why you'd have a fear of it, but I suppose we all do when we start something new o.o Like... hands... You should still definately pick it up. I love these books. And, :laugh: guess they're good for more than just a read-through. XD
Definately, really amazing books. I have up to book five and it's only gotten better and better~ <3
