Aww, you're so nice~ :3 The hair color was fun, hahaha. It was yellow, then orange, then red, then more yellow on top.
I think this really helps; with the way I lift up my pencil as I make it to the highlighted areas, the coloring's a little grainy, but by going over that again with yellow, it really smoothens it out. And then I erase up a little bit of highlights to really stand out. :]
You should try this, btw. Your art is really good, but the edges of the coloring seem a little stiff. Try working with pressure! You need to keep your colored pencils somewhat sharp, and yes, I know, that's quite a difficult task. But try to learn to lift up your pencil as you come to the highlighted area or whatever to get these strokes that 'taper' to a point. That effect is mostly visible in my picture in the transition from orange to red in Luke's hair. So try it out, and I'm sure it'll make the hair look smoother. :] Well, at least, I like to do it. Hehe. ♥

My style of coloring is slightly different then yours. XD I've tried and tried, but I just can't get the same transition from hair color to highlights. I'll do that- I'll give your new tips a try, though. <3 I just have a bad habit of forgetting. ^^;;

*gasps* It seems like every drawing you do, you advance about 50 levels in front of everyone else. Oh wait...it probably seems like that because you do advance 50 levels in front of everyone else with each drawing. *gasps again*
