Good gravy. HOW long has it been since I actually posted ART?! Don't answer that question.

The long-awaited-supposed-to-be-finished-for-Otakon Hyde portrait. Clearly not finished in time for Otakon. ^^; Oh well though. I decided to not do any art for Otakon, so as to be able to relax more. I didn't get to sell anything, but I didn't have to worry about art either! :D

I really liked this picture of Hyde. It really emphasized how very pale he is. That beautiful ivory skin. It's like black on white.

Technicality wise . .this had some goods and bads. Good; over all it turned out decently, without any major problems. Bad; I f***ed up somewhere in the face, and so now it looks sort of funny to me. The more I played with it, the better it seemed to feel, but something is still off. Blarg.

Also, I found sadly that pencil does not make a nice rich black. I decided to use Photoshop to my advantage to make more of a rich black, but unfortunately I can't do that for he original. If anyone knows how to make a smooth black with pencil, please tell me. :D

The original of this is for sale; and for a very affordable price! Prints are also available. Note me in interested!

Time Elapsed: 22 hours
Size: 11"x14"
Materials used: Graphite pencils HB, 2B, 9B, blending stump, photo reference, Photoshop for touch-ups.
