Description
"What if for a moment you opened the window or stepped outside of your busy lifestyle? Would you see the life that teems around you? Could you hear the breath of the earth, feel it's heartbeat? It lives around you, beneath you, and inside you. With or without you, the world changes. Each day it lives and dies."

My second landscape piece for my portfolio. I have always had this fascination with the changing of the seasons, and moreso with death in nature. Have you ever noticed how trees are the most beautiful in Autumn? I know I have, and I have also realized that the beauty that we see in Autumn is really the trees dying. That they are the most beautiful in death, but not without being reborn again. I don't know how all this fits together, but I wanted to try and capture many different essences of nature in my drawing. My main focus is the journey of the tree, from life to death, throughout the seasons.

I hope you can find some meaning in my drawing. Just remember! There's always a blue sky above the clouds.
