You're not a terrible artist, you can draw joints and limbs far better than I've ever been able to. Keep practicing and you'll end up drawing images you'll feel proud of - I'm in the same boat as you, and trust me, the more you draw and the more techniques you adopt, the easier it becomes, and in turn the more advanced your pictures become. I've spent three years drawing cat anthros and have only just evolved to a style i really like, so just keep doing what you're doing and the rewards are there for you to reap ^__^

one way to inmprove it is by adding some color. when you add color you can bring out the character dramatically! plus you can shadows to it!Also keep your lines nice and dark, not to sketchy and light, because that makes the quality of the pic lower.you'd be suprised at how much a little darkening can affect your pic for the better!
Always reamin confident, never stop practicing! thats the main advice i can give you!Keep up the good work, and good luck,FAV artist!
