Er, I think you've stumbled across the wrong page... if, defiant in your cause, you haven't, er, well, thank you! :)

My name is Heathcliff, it's not my real name, but it's what my friends call me and it's kinda stuck most places I go. I'm 18 and I live in the UK. Though I'm more frequently writing poetry or short fiction than drawing or cartooning, I still find time to create caricatures, doodles and characters which i feel I'm unable to achieve through written word.

A lot of my art is based upon cats and feline characters - this is more a subconscious thing than anything, as it's been said that a lot of my characterstics and elements of my life and character resemble that of a cat, hence making me think that maybe I was a feline in a former life. I've been running my project, Cats Incorporated (www.angelfire.com/retro2/catsinc for anyone who's not sick of me shamelessly plugging the URL) for nearly three years now - though I've only just recently got my serie sup on the internet I've got tons of pictures and cartoons waiting to be scanned - so don't be surprised if my gallery expands greatly within a short space of time :)

I'm a big fan of 1980s culture, fashion and music (I'm currently going through a phase of trying to make myself look like one of the Sisters of Mercy XD), specifically the commercial edge of Scritti Politti (Green Gartside has an amazing voice), Level 42, Madonna (80s period only), Rick Astley, Thompson Twins, Phil Collins, Simple Minds, Weird Al Yankovic and Bruce Hornsby (and The Range ^_^) - TV wise I enjoy Heathcliff and the Catillac cats (naturlich), Red Dwarf and Have I Got News For You (British comedy current affairs quiz). In terms of gaming I'm a SNES/Amiga man and am also a big, big fan of the music they churn out. I'm also part of an experimental musical duo, Big Neighbourhood. *phew*
