Done for the "Water" prompt, for my Sheik fanart100 claim on LJ. Slowly chipping away at that table.
AU-Sheik, as always.
Forced myself to attempt some foreshortening, but uh...mixed results. Also tried doing the "highlights" first, rather than midtone then shadows. Hopefully an improvement.
Materials: Mechanical pencils, tablet, Deleter CG Comic Illust

Foreshortening is one of the hardest things to do in my opinion when it comes to drawing. And she looks great. I think it came together amazingly well! I'm not quite that good yet, but I hope to be doing stuff like this some day. This is a great inspirational peice for other aspiring artists.

OOT spoilers below.Oh, and about Sheik and his/her origins, the game isn't very clear as to whether he/she is Zelda in disguize or meerly an alter-ego of Zelda. The game doesn't fully explain how she could dress and make herself look so masculine. Perhaps she actually transformed into a man, or this man was simply another side of her. I believe that it was just Zelda in fancily padded clothing to make her pass off as a guy.
