My, that's something new... I read a cool fic and got all inspired to finally do a HikaruXAkira fanart. It's sad really, how much trouble and little success I have in depicting Akira. He one of my most loved boys - second most loved actually - and I just CAN'T draw him. I even tried COPYING him off manga - he still doesn't look like himself. That's some kind of curse... -_- <br />

About the pic... Oh, well, I screwed it up totally, but extremely nicely... Their faces... as always, OOC a great deal and kinda... far away and out of it... You usually smile like that when you get paid a lot for smiling or when you have someone pointing gun in your direction and politely asking you to pretend you're all over your best friend... -_-` <br />

Clothes... errr... ::BIG sweatdrop:: Well, the tucks on Akira's... whatever it is... came out OK, I suppose. I mean the shape and shading, not the place... Hikaru's shirt is rather... kowaii, I'd say... Total failure. I seem to have a thing for combination of yellow and violet. And it also seems to have something to do with name "Akira". Now, the question of the day - why the hell I dressed Akira up like this? The answer - I'm an idiot. And... the body. Akira's body. My beloved Akira's body. It's so gross that I'm thinking about hating myself for the rest of my life for doing that to my favourite bishounen. That's what happens when I try to draw boys without any references... <br />

What else.. BG is crap as usual... Ever seen such pitiful sakura petals? <br />

What I really like about this pic is Akira's hair. Just LOVE it. And... the pic itself is nice, 'cause it kinda has the mood, in my opinion.<br />

But... I'd rather die then draw a completely PhotoShop pic again. Painter is so much easier and faster to work with... -_-

I kinda think in this pic Akira looks a bit like a girl, as in, you know, MORE like a girl than usual. Eh.. heh. Yeah, I was skimming the site and hoping to find a pic of my recently most obssesed-over pairing and VWALA! You made my dreams reality, a beautifully drawn pic of AkiHika! I love all your work! ^^-
And the Sakura petals AREN'T pititful! They look 3D and much better than MY pink (2D) ovals!! ^___^

...(wails) Dammit I HATE when artists of Ursa-Major fabulous pics denounce them!!! It's not fair! They have more talent in their right pinky than I have in both my hands, and they dare to say their work is mediocre!!! (despair)Ahem. Anyway, don't you dare even THINK of not bragging about this!!! This is a godly fanart and you damn well know it! The abstract background, the base drawing, the computer coloring, the highlights, every bit of it is absolutely flawless (esepically the blond guy's hair)! I have no idea what this manga/anime is, but this is the kind of work some people would sell their soul to be able to create. "Medicre" indeed...(wanders off, muttering irritably)
