I like its playfulness, the shading on its fur, and the way it seems to be morphing or dissolving at the ends of its tail and legs. Also, the cross-hatching on the hat gives a good impression of fabric, and the pale stars and swirls make for a charming background.
Was the background drawn, or blended in separately? What are the small green-tipped objects poking out of the hatband?

the BG is drawn like the cat. i never use digital or something else. i'm 100% traditional artist~
and the objects on the head are inspired by the original mad hatter hat.
