ive had this idea in my head for months but finally decided to get it out onto the digital canvas, feels nice to finally see it all finished.
I love painting water due to the fact that i can just make it all up without having to think too much about it, theres no awkard angles and lighting is pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it all
Apart from the 2 hands (which were referenced from my own) the rest of the image is all painted from scratch with no refs.

wow, this is very well done. the idea is very original too. ugh, and i hate doing hands. i still need to use mine as reference. i used to just put the hands behind the character or in their pockets so i wouldnt have to draw them. haha. again, very well done.
