I've never read the manga (or even seen the anime for a matter of fact, even though I'm bursting to see it) but I still think this is funny. Probably because I know Final Fantasy.It's hard to get used to Shuichi's abnormally lage head but the body looks great. Good work on the pose. I also quite like the expression on Eiri Yuki's face although I would prefer it if there wasn't a giant rain drop covering half of his head. This isn't really a criticism aimed at you though - I hate all the over the top things in anime. I wish serious ones would just stay that way with realistic animation. All the pokemon style flapping of arms and faces disappearing behind gigantic goofy expressions really pee me off as they spoil it for me.
