Misunderstood

well...ummmm.....the title has nothing to do with the pic, but more with the poem that follows (i thought of the pic and then the poem popped into my mind at the same time.....well...."POEM" did....i just came up with poem with basically whatever came to mind.....true essence of poetry =P)


MISUNDERSTOOD (for my love)

Expressing my feelings has always been hard
All Like me think so, too.
I've tried and tried but with little luck
But it's something that I must do.

Speaking outwardly is a pain for me
But i think I've found something that works
I'll write it out in an expressive way
So here it goes (trust me; there're no quirks) <----had to think of a rhyme =P

Though I may not show it openly
I feel this way inside
A longing to always be with you;
To have you at my side

I am introverted and shy
while you are out and more open.
It may be hard to understand
why what I feel is often unspoken

Well, here it is now;
the things that I feel
everywhere on me
from my head to my heels.

I get chills all around
Up and down my spine
My heart warms me up
when I remind myself you're mine.

I know it may seem like I don't really care;
that i have no affection at all.
Truth is that it's the complete opposite
It's just hard for me to stand tall

I deeply love you with all my heart,
with everything I have inside.
I mean, c'mon! If that wasn't true,
why did I pick you that one night?

My love for you is so great
that words can't express it alone.
It would be hard to say in person,
or even on the phone

So don't think for once that i don't love ya!
'cause that would never be true.
It would be extremely hard
to make me not love you

Everytime I'm with you
my passin burns me throughout.
A harbored feeling I want to express;
something i just wanna shout!

But something stops me in my tracks;
a mysterious force from within.
It sort of scrambles all my thoughts,
so I wouldn't know WHERE to begin

It's complicated to say, I know,
but this is truly what it is.
All the feelings I have for you.
Feelings of true bliss

Well, there we go! I'm finally done
with my little expressive way.
Just remember I'll think of you;
all the time; day by day
