He does how ever have muscles in his face and is actually capable of smiling and does many times in the series (You have seen it right? Not just a fanfic fandom follower are you? Because no one ever says this unless they've never seen the series and can only base characterization on other people's opinions on the show through fanfic.)

I do not and will not perpetuate fandom stereotypes. You can draw him like 99.9999999999 of other cookie cutter fandom sheep people do, I like him smiling just fine.

It might be just me but i think if you where to have him not smile and just have a Blaaa flat seriouse look it would portaray him as a character better.
