Remus Lupin

word! I agree with you on every count! I've got a picture of Sirius around here somewhere... Book Sirius not movie Sirius that I've been meaning to post for a while but I haven't had a chance to clean it up yet. Oh and the reason why you imagined it as a wolf... because it WAS! That's textual... I can't believe JK let them change it that much... oh well.

This is a very good picture. The guy cast was a decent actor but to me he just wasn't Lupin. I don't like how Sirius was potrayed at all. And I don't like how Lupin's werewolf looked. For some reason I imagined it like a normal wolf but with a few different things. Not a hairless creature walking on two legs. But in my mind, even when they were older the Marauders (cept peter whom I hate) were supposed to be hot! I mean, they were popular and good looking as kids and now...I just don't like how they were cast. And Sirius did act like a lunatic when he WASN'T a lunatic. *cries* I want to stay in my own fantasy of what they look like! Or cast my fantasy onto the screen...
And Why did Lupin have reddish hair? And a mustasce?
Well, this picture is much much better, for I am a MPP (I left out wormtail cause I hate wormtail...isn't that typical?)

If you read book three JK gives a pretty detailed description of Lupin that says he's young (think old enough to be harry's dad since they were all peers), tired with bright intelligent eyes, light brown hair going slightly gray, shabby robes and breifcase. So my imagination created this long before the movie. When David Thelps was chosen to portray Lupin you can see for yourself the contrast between my lupin and his lupin. And since Lupin is my favorite character I was sad to see that he was not closer to my imagination, that's all. He did an alright job. I mean its not his fault they game him the dialogue they did... and he didn't write that scene on the bridge which was ghastly innacurate. He pulled off a decent Lupin, but he's still not MY Lupin who is, in a word, hot. ^_^

yaaay! lupin! great pic! and I'd like to ask, how did you know what Lupin looked like before the movies????? I mean, they didn't really show him in the books (besides book 5 but he's on the back so you can't really see him too well), so how can you say he looks nothing like he's supposed to? in my opinion, i think David (the person who played remus) did a great job for someone who hadn't really finished the books. well that's just me ^___^' but it is a reallly great piccy! ^___^ me likes a lot!

I went and saw Azkaban opening night tonight! Lupin's actor did okay, I'll admit, but I can't get over that stupid little musdache and I didnt like his...other self... so much. Still, you can't dampen the spirits of a fabulous character even if the actor looks nothing like he's supposed to ^_^ I love Lupin so much!!!!!!
