People can hate Kikyo if they want to, and they can like her if the want to! Kikyo and Kagome are not the same people, in fact, they're very different! But, a good argument against killing Kikyo, which my friends have brought up so many times, is that if it weren't for Kikyo, InuYasha would have never met Kagome.
