Chao in 3D Finished!

Well, my chao model is officially finished!!! Turns out adding color was easier than I thought. It did slow down my computer a little, though. But, on the bright side, I found out how to change the rendering settings for higher quality, and I also lightened the background and made it put some shadows in there.

The only major changes (besides the coloring) are that I upped the polygon count and reconstructed the wings.

You know, for my first 3d model ever, I don't think I did too bad. It certainly looks better than the chao I draw in 2D. Heheheheheheh...

Anyway, I kept the base chao model uncolored and saved a colored copy so if, in the future, I wanted to make, say, a hero or dark chao, it would be easier.

Software used: Wings 3d (freeware version)
