I was playing around in Wings 3d today, and I figured I'd take the time to figure out how to use lighting once and for all. I also installed the POV-ray renderer, so I tried that out too. I liked these two the best, so I figured I'd share them with the world.

As for why I was working with a treble clef, I was also experimenting with importing vectors from Photoshop, and I happened to choose that shape to test with.

Hope ya likey!

ShadowsGirlfriend1_0Something made without using photoshop again!? I think you're the only artist here who uploads 3-dimensional stuff XD

I'm almost speechless actually. It is very, very professional looking, so great job on your part ;3 Though the edges are a little sharp, it truly blows my mind that someone around my age group can make something like this! I always thought you needed college to do anything with a modeling program :\ You've proven that wrong lol

kittyshootingstarThe program is actually pretty easy to use, it's called Wings3d. Sure, it can't do anything really high-poly, or make games or animations, but stuff like this is easy when you know how.

And I think the sharp edges are a result of the way I rendered it, but I'm not quite sure yet...

kittyshootingstarThat's because a treble clef is a form of musical notation.
