Apologies for the duplication but I've corrected the unequal shading of Wonder Woman's boots for this upload. Thanks for your interest.

This is the first drawing I've done for at least a couple of years so I'm well out of practise. I actually messed up Wonder Woman's face somewhat here because I'm pretty sure it was better at an earlier stage - before I started playing about trying to improve things but ending up having made them worse! I'm fairly happy with the outcome (in spite of what I just wrote) so I'm posting this to my gallery (rather than to scraps) as I wanted a drawing of Wonder Woman to join my other favorite female characters. (Also I doubt I'll ever get round to attempting another drawing of WW. Just saying.)

I like the idea of underlining WW's Amazon heritage - her weapon does look like swords used by Ancient Greek warriors; the corset she's wearing also bears resemblance to hoplite cuirasses. *thumbsup
