Can you guess what kind of music I was trying to portray here?

God dang it. I need to stop drawing so many faces. I have to practice drawing the rest of the body too, or I'll only be good with one part of realistic anatomy. I wouldn't want that.

This was done with OpenCanvas 1.1 with a tablet. OpenCanvas is definitely my favorite program. You can make smooth lines and blend colors like a painter. Too bad I can never get the traditional look to come from it. Koji's in there. You just gotta look HARD. Hu hu hu hu.

Anyways, this is an awesome thought! being able to see music would be so beautiful I'm sure of it! what kind of music is she listening to? :3 LOVE THE HEADPHONES and also adding the slight pink to her cheeks kept her looking like an actual person, not just a blank white face.(I really actually know nothing about colors so if what I'm saying sounds like sappy crap, blame it on that) I FOUND KOJI!! *does the "I found Koji" dance*

Haha, I feel the same way, but I love faces so much, I never really want to do anything else...

Her eyes are absolutely incredible, and I love the peacock-feathery background!

P; I actually imagine a copper-yellow with some pretty flower colors in the back(but not too obnoxiously pretty)!!!

I've missed you Rubius!! ;__; Summer is coming, it really is. And until then....*cracks your bones with a hug* DX AHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh draw amazing yaoi and boy on boy action while I'm gone! Thank you Buu for all your encouragement. ^-^ I have been drawing some yaoi stuff...but FAC so totally would not let me post it here. :P I hope that things are working out great for you and that you are not getting too stressed. I'm doing well in my Spanish class and kind of sluff in my Liturature class, but I've got good grades. I can't wait for summer then everyone will be back online and posting more art. WOOHOO!!! I've also posted a few pictures during the semester, I hope you saw them. ^-^

Wow, what lovely work! Realism is a pain in the @$$ to master (at least I think so. haha), The eyes look gorgeous! With the light green eyeshadow really brightening up her green eyes. Not only that, but you've combined complimentary colors. The red and the green are in perfect harmony. I like the simple dark frame you've created as well. Looks pretty nice.
I like the little hint of smile she has. Reminds me a bit of Mona Lisa :P
Is it by any chance heavy metal she's listening to? I want to guess it's some kind of metal, but I might be lost on that one.. :P

What a compliment! ;O Wow, I didn't even realize red and green were compliments until you said that. Maybe I use color compliments in all my other pictures without realizing it!!! ;o GASPS!

Yes, it is a form of rock! It's POP ROCK! That's what I was listening to when drawing this picture and I hope it showed through. When I look at this picture again, I think of an Indie pop for some strange reason. ;/ uuuoooh.

I had trouble making the eyes look right because I used that picture's eyes and my eyes as a reference since I didn't want to directly copy it. Asians eyes doesn't work when not drawing an Asian person. D; Augh. xD Thanks a lot!

I fixed the eyes and thickened the neck, but right now, you can only see the changes if you go full view.

I was going to make the red dots into eyes, but I thought it would be too creepy. Lol. P;
