Feeling Bright Tonight

I attempted to draw something that was not yaoi for once. No wonder I feel a little empty inside. I drew this picture on a 2.5' x 1.3' mat board with watercolor, colored pencils, permanent marker, white-out, and orange/blue highlighter in my friend Stephanie's dorm room. I gave her a lot of mat board, and I had to get rid of it somehow.

This was the first time using watercolor on mat board. My friend Rori was like, "Instead of painting it one small stroke at a time, just get a big batch of it, and put it on there." I was like, "You are right!" so I mixed a whole bunch of watercolors together into a big bowl of water and splashed it all over the matboard. She screamed, "NOT LIKE THAT!" and I was like, "Shut up woman; I know what I'm doing!" -And SURE ENOUGH. I didn't. Haha. Watercolor noob!

Edited in Photoshop! Why is part of her hair purple?! GAHHHH! Now to do some unethical Medical Terminology! Everyone get your Mothers Day contest entries in! *shakes fist*
