This is my contest entry for VictorAndLizzy's SHOT Contest where you had to draw yourself or a representative character shooting yourself with a "hand" gun.
I started drawing the picture in the lobby while waiting for my dentist appointment, and I always think about morbid things at the dentist, so that may have added to the unintended dark atmosphere in the picture.
It is a poor-female-anatomy representation of a bird shot in the Autumn. I was going for the "kill two birds with one stone" reference, but you could not do multiple characters, so I just opted for one "bird." If not for the terribly confusing detail, you could make out the ruined feathers, weeds, leaves, blood, and debris from the shot. The bird is a little angel now. -I think that was what I was going for.
I kept getting distracted drawing this picture (playing Slender, eating, watching Youtube videos, Tumblr, PORN) which frustrated me because if I do not finish something immediately, I have trouble coming back to it. It took a good deal of determination to finish this picture, and I thank VictorAndLizzy for letting me have the disciplinary experience.
Bic pen and lazy Photoshop coloring used. I know it is impossible for you guys to find Koji in this picture.

I have adjusted the face and nose (made it bigger) and changed up the bright orange color to more of a yellowing-red relaxing down to bright blue. I also added a black border so the details can get focused more. I also dodged and burned everything so the face can pop out better. Does it look a little better? A little? I want to throw this picture violently out the window, but I know it just going to float calmly onto the ground.
No, it does not matter what you draw or what I draw. I am always grounds for criticism from anyone, no matter how obnoxiously ASIAN, animu, obsessed-with-Captain-America-awesome-artist cool beans they are. I will forgive you despite all those obvious flaws you have. YOU HAVE A ZIT THERE

No, you are not being picky. I know exactly what you are talking about (well, not exactly, but I can sense that lack of something too). My favorite pictures are the ones that have a special totem or something "different" than all the other detailed, pretty, but plain pictures out there. I knew I did not put that something in this picture as I attempted with my other pictures, and it shows. I rushed and dreaded working on the picture because I knew there was not as strong of a result afterwards. ;/It is nice to know someone did not just give me praise though; I really need to reflect on when I know that when I really do not give a picture all the effort on purpose, it shows to the audience.

Thanks a lot for even setting up the contest! I was waiting for an interesting contest topic buy a decent artist to pop up! It was great because I could actually draw for it during my feel free days off school.I will be looking forward to the judgments. I LOVED GETTING INDIRECTLY JUDGED WITHOUT ME KNOWING.
