Thank you! I think that took me 4 hours to do! I am working on SAi right now trying to figure out how I drew that. It has been so long. UGHHH, I will figure out that technique sooner or later.

lol Omg, I forget how I color stuff all the time, and then I go and try to develop another style or new steps in coloring and it takes me forever! D:

Though, I think I am spiraling down a path of laziness and not feeling motivated to really do much.

That girl sure is a selfish little thing. I hope that guy throws her drunk @$$ out. D: It really makes me wonder how such people get into relationships in the first place. Maybe their partners are just as shallow....

Anyways, the story sounds interesting thus far. I wasn't expecting it to be BL, but thats kind of a plus. I do hope that it'll have some nice female characters though just because it would make the story more realistic.

Yes! Originally, the girlfriend was supposed to have some part of him going out, but she was not supposed to be mean. I just did not know how to realistically get him out of the house without having something interesting like a fight happening in the beginning. 

Yes, I actually really like realistic yaoi that does not make all female characters dumb and enemies, so I am doing my best to stray from that. ;__; Her personality is a little regretting...I wonder how I can change that? I planned ot have her be some passing trifle antagonist too...

Relationships like that do exist, and sometimes it is almost abusive. Imagine a guy that physically and mentally abuses his girlfriend, but she is too afraid to leave him (support/connection to another human being) or he threatens her. People keep thinking that the girl is the victim, but there are so many undocumented relationships where it is switched, and the girl does that to the guy, and the guy is just too much of a chicken. You just have to be independent yourself before you depend on anyone. 

In that situation the smartest decision would have been to simply leave the apartment without becomming involved in an argument. This would let the roommate come to a decision on his moral standing. It would also lesson the chance of becomming the woman's enemy.

I think the way things worked out was fine though. I mean he got caought up in his emotions. He didn't want to leave but he also didn't want to hold back on the impulse to take the woman down a peg. By being the one to leave it makes him feel like the bigger man even though he'll come to regret the way that things transpired.

I've seen quite a fue BL anime that didn't have a single female character. What always comes to mine is "Well I guess they really didn't have a choice then to be in a relationship with a man.". It always bothered me because it makes the relationships not seem like they are a big deal when every single character is gay.

It's sad when there is abuse in relationships reguardless of gender. It would be nice if people could have the confidence to just leave, but there is always the feeling of dependancy and not wanting to be completely alone again. Sometimes you feel so low that you don't think anyone could love you.

Funny how I talk like I have actually been in a relationship. lmfao I'm 31 and have always been single.

It is funny that people like to say "Well, you cannot think like this because you have never done it or been in this exact situation, so how can you talk?" To be honest, some of the truest/purest/unbias/objective advice about love and relationships keeps coming from people who are not blinded by the emotions and memories that they had in their past relationships, so heck, single people do understand love, and they are really good at pinpointing abuse/something funky going on to the person who is too engrossed in the relationship to notice it. Do not worry. From the way you speak, you seemed to have analyzed relationships (not just with love; what you say can apply to friendships and people relationships in general) enough to not let any bullshoot estrange you. If you have to wait for the right person, and they exist,the you wait for them instead of having to deal with anything like in the comic. I kind of wanted this comic to have a solemn slice-of-life realistic feel about life and relationships going downhill, but their relationship is still blossoming from all of the ups and downs. To me, that is a healthy relationship, not any of the fall-in-love-at-first-sight-because-they're-hot or one-conflict-save-the-damsel-in-distress-once-and-sex crap. 

Hahah, you made me laugh a little at the "Well, I guess they have no choice but to fall in love with a guy." I never thought about stereotypical yaoi like that. It does seem like that! If you eliminate all of the girls, it is like the only choice you have is the guy. xD I feel an author/artist that can put in the challenge of a girl having an actual significant plot/contribution to the story is facing the problme of same-sex vs. different-sex relationships directly. That is a more courage plot.

Nicole, you seem like a pretty perceptive, thinking, and chill chick. You and me should have some physiological talk over some tea between computers sometime. 

I suppose if I wanted to bte back at anyone who thought I was too inexperienced, I could point out that people write about things that they have not experienced first hand all the time. There are many science fiction and fantasy writers in the world. If they were told that they were not qualified simply because they have never been to another world. They would probably laugh.

It's sort of the mentality that the viewer will feel threatened by the opposite sex being there. It bothers me a lot since it's not just limited to BL titles.

haha That would be pretty awesome. I can't say that I'm all that smart or perceptive, but I do like to chat. I'm just not good at being the initial start of a conversation. I have confidence issues.

Do you ever Skype? I prefer Join-Me which is more for screen-sharing. I am not big on video calls because I do not like the person THAT much. 

I have Skype, but I use it just for text chats and screen sharing. Sort of like I use to do with MSN before it's death. I'm realy not into video calls. They are not good for someone with anxiety issues such as myself. lol

I've never heard of Join-Me. I'll look into it.

Sometime when we are both online on FAC or anywhere else, I can give you a join-me link, and we can chat while you watch my screen (I will most likely be drawing). You do not have to join join-me to watch my screen. 

Sure that would be cool. I might learn something. hahaha

ok im not really into Yaoi or Yuri...but this soo far sounds kinda cool, i like Allister's personality, and i dont like girls like the one you showed at all. so i kinda cheered him on ^.^

I neglected to view your art all this time and I regret it so!   Your understanding of panel placement is great, your art is lovely and the storywriting is so interesting and intriguing! I enjoyed following this one comic strip so much! After reading the description of this picture I only want to follow it more, especially with the juiciness of the last bit in their relationship   Nyeheheehehehehehe..! I hope you know I never browse other peoples art, I'm always too busy with my own stuff 

Sometimes, I have trouble browsing people's artwork and commenting (especially if it is for writing) because of lack of time, so it is understandable!

I actually only work on them in my breaks between school, so not often at all. Thus, when I have breaks, it may seem like I am an expert at being lazy/playing all the time, but really, I am just trying to regurgitate all of the fun ideas and manga/yaoi I can before the break ends. ;~; You should have that perspective this weekend. Have you watched K Project? Thsat anime did not really get as much hype as I expected when it came out compared to Free! (which I have finally watched, and I must say that it is the most boring anime with hot men ever). 

Dang it, I guess my yaoi is not legitimate enough yet. Do not forget the incredible small head to body ratio. You can see some pre-yaoi artists that have normal art styles, and then as they slowly progress into yaoi, it is like a scary beastly transformation of their men into YAOI MEN. You can just see it. 

FOr the Buulock and Totusan, just think up of a stupid title and follow it until the end. Make every panel lead up to making that title make sense, or I do not know. DO SOMETHING CRACK. CRACK IT ALL. HEROINE IT ALL.
