me: btw, i found out why Eclipse gets claws when he becomes Feral.

Eclipse: wha?

Me: anthro hedgehogs have retractable claws, but their blood needs to pump fast enough to activate them. Since Eclipse's heart rate speeds up to incredible speeds, his blood becomes more active, and unstable, thus, the claws. This is also the reason why the claws came during that pokemon battle, except the combination of Condemned allowed the to grow and pierce Rayquaza's brain. Normally, they don't do that.

Eclipse: um.... ok?

Me: also, if something makes your heart beat faster, like, a lot in ANY case, you might accidentally activate the claws.
