Mikenno: .... i don't know about that. I dont think even Vasper knows exactly where he is. We'd have to figure that out ourselves.

ROOM: *goes totally blank, and a door opens behind them*

Eclipse: Ah... *leads Vasper out* Whaddaya think, Vasper? You think you can get used to being a host?

Eclipse: Lupe...? That... that's a name I haven't heard in a VERY long time. ._.

C. Eclipse: Yeah, we're actually done for the rest of the day.

C. Eclipse: Eyup. Just keep thinking those happy thoughts, Vasper. *turns back into his mobian self*

D. Vasper: *concentrates, and manages to turn back into his mobian self as well* :D !

Eclipse: ^^

Mikenno: *places a hand on Vasper's shoulder, giving him some of his own strength to fight off the demekarr*

Whitney: .....

Vasper: *his shaking turns to concentrated breathing* Right... right, it's... it's ok, now.

Eclipse: It won't be ok until you learn how to control it on your own.

Vasper: Y-yeah... I-I know...

Eclipse: That demekarr inside you will feed off of all your negative emotions. Fending it off isn't easy, but there is a way.

Vasper: And... and what way is that...?

Eclipse: I know this sounds cheesy, but... you need to think of really happy things. Y'know why? Because demekarrs can't feed off of happy. You'll starve it, and weaken it. And when you weaken it, kid... my god, will it be so much easier to handle. Once you weaken it, you can imagine yourself FIGHTING it... BEATING it... and then... then you'll have won. Not forever, mind you. It will come back again, sooner than you think... but then you just beat it again.

Vasper: Is that really... all you do...?

Eclipse: *shrugs* I've been doing it for years, and my demekarr is the strongest one you can find.

Mikenno: *keeps his hand on Vasper's shoulder* it might sound odd, but it gets easier with time. I think you need some rest before we can start practicing this, though.

Vasper: ... alright. I am kinda tired...

Eclipse: Hey, wait.

Vasper: ?

Eclipse: What's your name?

Vasper: It's... i-it's Vasper.

Eclipse: It's nice to meet you. My name's Eclipse. I'll be seeing you around, hopefully.

Vasper: Right... where can I stay?

Jacob: Well, there's plenty of rooms available. We'll need to get you registered. ^^

Whitney: oh! I-I can go tell the lady to get the papers ready! *runs off*

Mikenno: *laughs* so overeager... Come on, Vasper, we DO need to get you registered.

Vasper: *hops off the bed* alright. *follows Mikenno out*

Eclipse: I hope this doesn't end up like what happened with Luminos... put down because of the demekarr...

Mikenno: *leads Vasper to the registration-lady, who already has half the first sheet filled out*

Registration-lady: *notices Vasper* Ah, you must be Vasper. ^^ I have a few sheets for you to fill out, and then you'll be fre to stay here for as long as you like. :)

Whitney: ^^

Vasper: *nods* ...ok... *takes the sheets, and starts filling them out* ...

Whitney: *waits, rocking back and forth on her heels*

Mikenno: Whitney, you should go get some rest, it's late.

Vasper: *quickly waves to her as a goodbye, and continues working on the papers*

*AND THEN HE FINISHES THE PAPERS*

Registration-lady: *takes the papers* alright, you're all set! *hands him a key* your room number is 257, welcome to HN. :)

Vasper: uh... thanks... *wanders off to find the stairs. Which he does find. He then finally finds his room, and uses the key to enter it* ... woah...

Room: *is fairly spacious for a one-person room, but maybe it's because he's still small. it contains a small kitchen, bathroom, and living area, along with a small bedroom containing a bed*

Vasper: ... ... *he goes into the bedroom, and gets into the bed. He tries to sleep*

*AND THEN WE SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY. AGAIN. WHAT THE HELL*

Vasper: *does his morning routine, then walks out of his room*

Eclipse: Good morning, Vasper.

Vasper: AAHH!! D8

Mikenno: i told you he would freak out. :/

Vasper: *tries to just focus on eating his muffin. He is pained from the constant roaring and screeching in his head, which renders him taciturn*

Eclipse: Right now he's still learning. Like Mikenno said, not too dangerous - at worst, he's as vicious as an angry puppy.

Whitney: You'll be okay, R-Raptor, honest! I was okay! :D

Eclipse: Even still, if he does act up, I can intervene.

Eclipse: So Vasper... are you ready to be trained to control your demekarr?

Vasper: *nods* Yes. Yes, PLEASE.

Eclipse: You sound eager. :)

Vasper: You were like me once, right? You'd feel the same.

Eclipse: Well then... I guess I would. Come on, Vasper. *leads Vasper to the Sim Room, he calls out to his friend* You should come too, Mikenno!

Eclipse: Ok then. Mikenno? One of us is going to have to join Vasper in the sim room while the other one mans the controls.

Vasper: *looks into the blank white room* what IS this place?

Mikenno: *to vasper* you'll see. *to eclipse* you go first, Eclipse, you've got the REAL experience with demekarrs. :P *goes out to the control room*

Eclipse: Alright. ^^ *nudges Vasper in, then follows*

IN THE SIM ROOM

Eclipse: Ok, Vasper. Gaining full control of your demekarr is... well saying it's a "tricky thing" would be an understatement, wouldn't it?

Vasper: I dunno. D:

Eclipse: Right. Um. Vasper, demekarrs like to come out when you're angry, or scared. You need to learn to fight against those emotions.

Vasper: How?

Eclipse: Um... well... you know those happy thoughts that you needed to think of?

Vasper: Yeah?

Eclipse: You need to block out all other thoughts... except the happy ones. The demekarr will try to shake you. It will... well, since yours isn't intelligent, perhaps it will only roar, and make frightening noises. Turn it against itself. Laugh at it.

Vasper: Laugh? ._. ...

Eclipse: I know it seems silly... but the angrier a demekarr is, the less likely it's able to take you over - because it becomes unfocused, and forgets what it was trying to do.

Vasper: Oh.

Mikenno: *over the speakers* okay, so what do you need, Eclipse?

Eclipse: I think a calm, forest area would suffice. When I need them, I'm also gonna need a demonstration of the different elements.

Vasper: What? Why?

Eclipse: Well, demekarrs have certain weaknesses.

Mikenno: *speakers* forest it is. gimme a shout when you need a change, okay?

Room: *changes into a calm, wooded area*

Eclipse: Thanks Mikenno, I will!

Vasper: ._.;

Eclipse: Alrighty. There are certain elements that demekarrs can't stand, Vasper.

Vasper: ?

Eclipse: This is important Vasper, because you need to learn to avoid them. One of these elements, the most common of all of them, is fire, and heat. Mikenno?

Room: *one of the trees suddenly catches fire. it burns very hot and threatens to spread to other trees*

Vasper: *feels almost like he's literally melting, and steps away from the burning tree, fearful of it* I-I see what you mean...

Eclipse: *indifferent* Yeah, so avoid that at all costs. Another thing that demekarrs can't stand is electricity. Unfortunately, I've been a victim of this several times.

Vasper: d-did it hurt...?

Eclipse: A thousand times more than it would hurt a normal mobian, Vasper.

Mikenno: *over the speaker* don't expect me to electrocute you.

Eclipse: I'm not, Mikenno. In fact, you don't even have to do anything with that - it's got the same effect as the fire.

Vasper: *still fearing the fire*

Eclipse: Vasper, the last thing demekarrs are weak against is light. Pure light.

Vasper: Whaddayou mean?

Eclipse: Like... um... like a kind of magic, or liquid-type material... it's hard to explain.

Mikenno: not gonna shoot any of that at you either.

ROOM: *the fire suddenly extinguishes, and the tree looks completely unharmed.*

Me: hey, since this is the timeline Mal is in, do you think we should try introducing Arthemis? unless she's younger than Mal.

Me: Yeah! :D ... how shall we go about this?

Eclipse: I know. *to Vasper* Of course, demekarrs, despite their weaknesses, also have the ability to survive in freezing climates.

Vasper: Huh? Why?

Eclipse: I'm not exactly sure how...

Me: ...i dunno.... i think she should be around the same age as Mal, so either she pops up and accidentally causes trouble in HNHQ, or she's Mal's playmate and Condemned meets her when he goes to visit. or both! :D

Mikenno: *speakers* do we need cold?

Me: Let's do the second one! :D

Eclipse: Eyup. Make it super cold, Mikenno.

Vasper: *waits* ...

Me: AWESOME.

Mikenno: alrighty then.

Room: *HOLY CRAP COLD. all the leaves fall off the trees and the ground's suddenly covered with snow*

Eclipse: Thank you, Mikenno. *transforms into his demekarr form* ...

Vasper: *shivering from the cold* how d-do y-you d-do that-t?

C. Eclipse: You just... think about it. Think about the demekarr - tell it to do this to you. Try it.

C. Eclipse: If you do, I can stop you. Try, Vasper.

C. Eclipse: Then try again.

Vasper: *tries again, this time he goes into his demekarr form* Oh! I'm really warm now!

C. Eclipse: And you got into your demekarr form. Congratulations!

D. Vasper: *looks at himself, and looks uncomfortable* <:S

Mikenno: *speakers* you'll get used to it. are we done with the cold?

Whitney: *nods* yup. we got him to calm d-down. :) *withdraws back into the room to allow Eclipse in*

Eclipse: ... *slowly, he walks into the room again*

Vasper: *tries very hard to supress the sudden urges that rise within him when Eclipse walks into the room. He is struggling, which causes him to twitch irratically* nnhh...

Mikenno: i could try holding it back from the inside, if i mind-jump again.

Jacob: hrmm... well. only if you're up to it.

Vasper: *looks around the room*

Mikenno: *grins* i've dealt with worse. trust me. *to Whitney* can you go get Eclipse?

Whitney: *nodnods, and opens the door to see if Eclipse was still hanging around*

Eclipse: *is waiting around. He notices Whitney* ! Oh, is it safe to come in?

Vasper: *continues studying his surroundings*

Mikenno: of course. *nods towards Whitney* and i think she'll be able to help us.

Whitney: *pats him on the back, assuring him that it'll be okay*

Jacob: *nods, and small smile now grown on his face*

Vasper: th-th-thank y-y-you... *sniffle*

Whitney: I-it's nothing... Y-you needed it.

Mikenno: ...

Vasper: D-do you ALSO have experience with... with demekarrs?

Jacob: ...

Whitney: .... I l-lived here during the Demekarr Takeover. This place was d-destroyed... by the demekarrs and their new leader.... I've never been posessed by one... b-but I made friends with one or two...

Mikenno: ...

Vasper: *makes an "ew" face* you made FRIENDS with a DEMEKARR...?

Jacob: You mean Vorace, Whitney?

Whitney: *nods at Jacob* Yep. H-he's a really nice guy.... after we got him to normal, o-of course... *to Vasper* but he's a full demekarr. if we c-could bring HIM back, helping you control yours should be e-easy!

Vasper: wait... bring him BACK...?

Jacob: Demekarrs aren't meant to be peaceful beings. His own mind rebelled against him. It turned him evil.

Whitney: *noddnod* Mhmm. b-but we brought him back. and he had turned e-eviler than YOUR demekarr, because your demekarr isn't smart. *to Mikenno* Right?

Mikenno: right. intelligent demekarrs are much harder to control.

Jacob: oh yes. The intelligent ones actually know how to survive within their hosts, and not just blindly cause havoc whenever they can.

Vasper: Oh... So... somehow... I can consider myself lucky. Sort of.

Mikenno: *nods* That you can do.

Whitney: s-so can we call Eclipse back in, or is it n-not safe?

Vasper: I don't know... how am I going to control this demekarr inside me, if it wants Condemned dead...?

Jacob: We can hold you back if we must. Perhaps, Mikenno, you can help?

AND THEN VASPER WAKES UP YAY

Vasper: *sits up and scoots away from everyone* ... *he wipes a few tears from his eyes*

Eclipse: *slowly, he gets up and approaches Vasper* ... hey...

Vasper: *sniffles and looks at him*

Eclipse: No one should ever go through being a host... especially a kid like you...

Vasper: *looks down at the floor* ...

Jacob: We can help you, Vasper. Please believe in us.

Vasper: *he shivers, then nods*

Whitney: *is glad to see he's okay, and sighs*

Vasper: *whispering, almost as if to himself* ... how did this happen...?

Eclipse: Do you remember what happened before you were taken over?

Vasper: I-I was... was... *squints a bit at Eclipse, then his eyes widen with realization, and he quickly scoots away from the hedgebat* Y-YOU! YOU DID THIS TO ME!

Eclipse: What?? are you talking about?? D:>

Vasper: *points a shaky finger at Eclipse* Y-you're their leader! My dad told me to look for you - he said you can stop them - b-b-but you were one of THEM...!!

Jacob: Mikenno, do you know what he's talking about?? Eclipse doesn't seem to...! D:

Mikenno: *narrows his eyes as he does a quick search, and finds--* !! Eclipse... it was Condemned. Condemned did this to him.

Whitney: !!! D:>

Eclipse: CONDEMNED did this to him??You mean... l-like...

Vasper: Those monsters... those demekarrs had taken over the city! My dad told me to FIND YOU! I COULDN'T HELP HIM, AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!

Jacob: This was during the demekarr takeover... he must have been one of the surviving demekarrs...

Eclipse: N-no! Look, kid, I swear it wasn't - I'm not - I'm just like YOU!

Vasper: How? How can YOU be like ME?? DB<

Eclipse: I am a demekarr host... a-and right now I have much better control of mine, but... but I was like you once long ago. I was scared, and had problems controlling myself, as a host... but I got help, and I can help YOU...

Vasper: I don't want to be anywhere near you! You're Condemned's host! I... I... ghh... *rubs his head* I-I n-need to... kill you...

Eclipse: What...?? D:>

Vasper: *in a demonic voice* have to kill you... weak leader...

Jacob: Oh! This! This was probably why he managed to drag himself here! The demekarr! What if it was TELLING him to come here, because it wanted to destroy Condemned??

Whitney: !! *takes at step back*

Mikenno: His demekarr isn't intelligent, so i couldn't tell what its intentions were.... but it seems very likely... Eclipse, you might need to leave.

Eclipse: *his ears droop* ugh... and here I thought the demekarr takeover ended with Shriku... *shakes his head, and leaves*

Vasper: Nrf... *shakes his head a bit, trying to clear his thoughts* wh... why'd he leave...?

Jacob: He had to, Vasper. Your demekarr wants him dead, and Condemned destroyed.

Vasper: ...?

Mikenno: Condemned was the leader of the Demekarrs during the Demekarr takeover, but because he had a moment of weakness, he was overthrown by another Demekarr, Shriku. Now all Demekarrs consider Condemned to be weak, and want him gone. That includes yours.

Whitney: D:

Vasper: Well then, me and my... demekarr... want the same thing. Condemned took my dad from me! D:<

Jacob: Your dad?

Vasper: Yeah! I-I need to look for him... I promised I'd save him... and... and I only ended up become one of them...

Jacob: Do you have any idea where he is?

Vasper: *sniffles* ... no... the last time I saw him was when Condemned did to him what he later did to me... I-I c-couldn't d-do anything b-but watch him roll ar-round in p-p-p-pain, a-and... a-and... *buries his face in his knees, and cries uncontrollably*

Whitney: D:> ...... *takes a deep breath, and approaches Vasper, and hugs him*

Mikenno: ):> ....... *decides to give him a moment*

Vasper: *accepts the hug, and gives a tighter one in return, sobbing*

Jacob: ... and this all happened during the takeover... the poor child... he must have been through so much...

Me: *BAWWWWWWWWWs at the mental image*

Whitney: *huuuuuuuuug*

Mikenno: yeah... poor kid. i think we should find his father and try to help them both...

Jacob: A good plan. Though first, I feel that it would be best to focus on helping the boy control his demekarr.

Vasper: *huuuuuuuug*

Jacob: right! *runs over to Whitney* hang on, Whitney, Mikenno's gonna help us out, ok? D:

D. Vasper: *seems to fight against Mikenno, but he finally gives in, and falls unconcious.

Eclipse: Phew...

IN VASPER'S MIND

Vasper's Demekarr: *has temporarily destroyed Vasper's mind-self, and is in full control, not yet noticing Mikenno*

Mikenno: .... *slowly walks towards him, morphing into his dragon-self as he approaches*

Demekarr: *suddenly, his ears perk up, and he snaps his head to face Mikenno, growling angrily, fur bristling*

OUTSIDE

Eclipse: Mikenno... he'll be able to help this kid, now...

Jacob: Excellent.

Mikenno: *extends his wings, making him seem even BIGGER to the demekarr* This body isn't yours, Demekarr.

OUTSIDE

Whitney: ....is Mikenno going to get rid of the d-demekarr?

Eclipse: *shakes his head* I seriously doubt it. Mikenno's powerful, but if he was able to get rid of demekarrs right on the spot, then I wouldn't be stuck with Condemned.

Jacob: Huh. I guess.

Demekarr: *it's response reveals that it is not intelligent* SNOAARRRGH!! *charges at Mikenno, salivating in unfocused rage*

Whitney: o-oh.... *seriously feels bad for Vasper, even though she barely knows him*

Mikenno: *roars and charges as well. taking advantage of his greater size, he barrels into the demekarr, knocking it back flat on its... back*

Me: ... back...? XD

Demekarr: HRHF! *is knocked down*

Eclipse: *watches Vasper carefully*

Jacob: *monitering him*

Mikenno: *places a clawed talon on the demekarr's chest, holding it down*

Demekarr: *screeches angrily at Mikenno*

Demekarr: Grnf... hssk... *loses all strength, and fades away - though this doesn't mean it's fully gone, just temporarily disabled*

Vasper's mind-self: *fully fades back*

Vasper: *let's out what would seem like a sigh of relief*

Eclipse: *at the same time, he, too, does so as well*

Jacob: I'm guessing Mikenno did it?

Mikenno: *sighs as his paw drops back to the floor when the demekarr vanished, and sat back on his hunches, looking at Vasper like a mildly interested cat, tail swishing back and forth on the ground* ...

Mikenno: Your demekarr isn't intelligent, meaning, it isn't trying to control you for a specific purpose. that makes it so that it'll be easier to control. The people out there have experience with Demekarrs, and they'll teach you to control it, to subdue it, so it won't bother you anymore.

Fria: *looks surprised, then becomes serious. she averts her eyes and murmurs* dangerous... *looks back at Eclipse* plans?

Eclipse: We've let him hang out with Vorace a whole bunch... both me, and Mikenno think that he can be a good influence on Mal...

Fria: *nods* good. *smiles slightly*

Eclipse: ... we can't make a single mistake, though... already, Mal has been exposed to evil... nothing can go wrong, or we will doom him to become something... horrible...

Fria: *her smile vanishes* no. *shakes her head* dangerous... *motions to herself, then to Eclipse* .....help?

Eclipse: *shrugs, smiling at her* Only if you're willing to, then sure, you can help.

Fria: *nods*

Eclipse: *somewhat happy about her agreement to help out* ... alright. But only 'cuz you want to.

Eclipse: *smiles gratefully at her, then suddenly gets a strange feeling. His ears prick up, as if hearing a noise, but in reality, Condemned was allowing him to sense something. Something wrong* *mumbling* Um... thanks again. Bye Fria. *runs back to the front of HNHQ*

AT THE FRONT OF HNHQ

Vasper: *had passed out at the front of the building*

Eclipse: *finds him* D8> !!!!

No one: *shows up. yet.*

Eclipse: *not knowing what else to do, he quickly picks up the boy, and heads into the building, looking for help* D8>

Vasper: *...*

Whitney (yay): *happens to glance in the direction of the door and sees Eclipse glancing around* !!! *looks around to make sure she won't get trampled by the traffic flow of people in the building, and hurries over* Eclipse! w-what happened? D:

Eclipse: Whitney! I don't know! I just found him passed out like this at HNHQ's front door! D: Where's Jacob, do you know??

Vasper: *...*

Me: he's in the med room.

Me: thank you.

Whitney: umm, umm, he's in the med rooM! here, i'll go ahead and let him know you're coming o-okay? D:> *dodges in between random mobians and heads straight for the med room*

Eclipse: thank you, Whitney! *runs to the med room*

MED ROOM

Jacob: *treating a mobian wish a sprained arm* aaalllright. Now try not to move your arm so much, and it should get better in a few months.

Mobian: Alright, thanks Jacob! ^^ *leaves*

Eclipse: *gives Vasper to Jacob*

Jacob: *puts him down, and checks him over* ...

Whitney: *watches anxiously, worried for this unknown boy, tail twitching nervously* ... D:

*after a bit of examining*

Jacob: Well, he's dehydrated, but... that's all... there's nothing else wrong with him.

Eclipse: He seems like he's traveled a fair distance. The real question is... why would he give his all in order to reach HNHQ? *he keeps getting an uneasy feeling from Vasper, and wonders why*

Vasper: *...*

Whitney: m-m-maybe he was r-running from s-someone...?

Eclipse: But... that still doesn't answer why he chose this specific building...

Jacob: Maybe it does. After all, this building is huge - maybe he thought someone here could help him... with no questions asked.

Eclipse: No questions?

Jacob: A big building makes people automatically assume 'busy people'. If we're busy, we wouldn't be able to bother ourselves with the 'why', but rather, the 'what' of the moment.

Vasper: *...*

Whitney: w-well, he IS a hybrid... m-maybe he knew about us a-and thought we were the b-best place to h-help...

Jacob: *giving Vasper some water* that could be another possibility.

Vasper: *coughs and sputters from the sudden rush of water down his throat*

Eclipse: *looks at Vasper* ...

Whitney: *hesitantly approaches the table* H-hey, you'll be okay... w-we're gonna help you.

Vasper: *still squirms away from them* NO!! NO!!

Eclipse: *suddenly, he has a realization* h-he's a HOST! HE HAS A DEMEKARR! D:

Vasper: *almost as if on cue, he unwillingly starts to transform* NNRAAAUUGHH...!!

Jacob: D8> *backs away* Oh god, and you let him IN HERE, Eclipse??

Whitney: *her eyes widen at the word "demekarr," and she freezes in fear. How could this hybrid, not much older than her, have one of those horrible beasts inside him?!*

Vasper: HHNNRRRGH!! *fully transforms* RAAAGH!!

Eclipse: !! WHITNEY, GET DOWN! *throws himself on top of Vasper, pinning the boy down*

D. Vasper: *struggles to free himself* grrf!

Jacob: D8 Wh-what should I do??

Eclipse: GET MIKENNO! D8<

Jacob: D8 *runs off*

Whitney: *snaps back to reality, and scampers behind one of the chairs in the med room, curling up into a ball* D8>

Eclipse: *turns into his Condemned form, still struggling to hold Vasper down* C'MON!!

D. Vasper: RAAUUUURRRGH!!

Jacob: *running around HNHQ, looking desperatly for Mikenno* nhh! D8>

Mikenno: *seems to come out of nowhere, already running in the direction of the med room. He grabs Jacob's wrist as he runs past, almost dragging him along* don't fall behind!

Whitney: *cowering behind the chair*

Jacob: Aah! Mikenno! D8

C. Eclipse: C'mon, kid! FIGHT IT!!

D. Vasper: ROAAWWRGH!! *sinks his teeth into Eclipse's shoulder*

C. Eclipse: NRRGH! Don't fight ME!!

Mikenno: *bursts into the med room, and immediately lets go of jacob* go calm Whitney down. *quickly approaches Vasper and Eclipse, and places both his hands on Vasper's head, attempting to both tranquilize him and enter his mind*
