Never seen Mallrats, but apparantly it was filmed in the mall I work at. This is a really cute and funny comic. I sometimes have trouble with those optical illusion posters as well.
One bit of advice: try to work on your character consistency. Paine looks different in every frame, and I don't just mean the expression on her face.
