et another celebrity repaint. I used a 16-inch ball jointed resin doll. I completely removed factory facial painting as well as the attached original wig and hand painted it to the loosely resemble the likeness of the stunning Angelina Jolie. Here, the repainted doll is shown wearing a new wig I attached.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

WOW... Thats amazing, she loooooks so like Angelina Jolie, very realistic. Thats the first time I have seen so much similarity, even they can't make action-figures of her so realistic as you have.... fabulous work! Usually the eyes draw me in, this time however, I really like the nose on this and the small detail such as the faint lines(bags) under the eyes. I think it adds that needed definition of the face and adds to the whole Jolie look. VEry NicE.FreezingRain on November 19, 2007, 10:48:49 PM
