Polermin

Name: Polermin ("Polar" and "Ermine", a Northern weasle that is brown in the summer and called a stoat, but turns white in the winter and becomes an ermine.)

Attacks: Headbutt, Fury Swipes, Tackle, Scratch and Agility. Has the capacity to perform Ice-Type attacks like Blizzard, Icy Wind and sometimes even Ice Beam.

Special Attacks: Snow Drift (turns its body into snowy powder to avoid being hit by its opponents attacks).

Evolution Level: N/A

Evolution Form: Evolves from Aggrestoat

Location: Often found in the arms of young trainers on Manzanita Island or in the purse of a wealthy woman watching the Jousting Tournaments on Splinter Island.

Type: Normal/Ice

Description: Once the fierce Aggrestoat evolves into the tiny, playful Polermin, they are discarded from the Army. They often find themselves being pampered by a wealthy woman, or at the sides of budding young trainers. It's a common site to see 3 and 4 year olds on Manzanita Island having vigerous battles with their Polermin, Pinchilla or Shadomundi. Polermin become very attached to their owners and tend to live a long time; up to 15 years! The army has been secretly trying to extract the gene that causes Aggrestoat to evolve into the sweet and timid Polermin, but the resulting Aggrestoat were 10 times more aggressive and viciously mauled their handlers. Unfortunetely, the Pokemon selceted for the program had to be euthanized within days of the risky operation.
