Say,in your opinion which is more interesting:American comic books or Japanese manga?

i find that they both are just as great.
it just depends on the writing and the illustrations for each one. i'v read as many bad mangas as i have bad comics, however, one of the great things about mangas is that there is an ending. as in, the end.
so many comics just go on forever, and sure it's cool to read different story arcs, however, there still isn't an ending.
and as for the artwork in mangas, most of them are very similar, however with comics, you get so much diversity, even manga artists have worked on spiderman, or batman.
