She is a mermaid based off of the Nile Crocodile, so i kind-of wanted her to look reptilian in build, hope it gives that effect

Holy muffins! Great details. Nice idea and great presentation!I'm not sure if you wanted the water this way, but if it was supposed to be clear, it'd be cool to see a reflection or the blurry lines of her tail through the water. Just a suggestion. :)

admittedly, that was the effect i wanted to have, but the water around the tail is a bit denser because it's at the core of all the movement in the image and more blurred, so details naturally get lost in the water ^^where the water's thinner, though (in front of her braid, at the bottom) one can see some of the defining lines of her hair through it =D

Heheh, hopefully it's an oatmeal raisin butterfly cookie!I know what you mean. I like it when people ask questions, and I even wish that people would critique my stuff sometimes rather than a one-line comment.
