dark thoughts lurk
around in time,
my troubled soul
my tortured mind.
no one will ever
feel my pain
so i'll run away,
and hide in the shadows again.
you can lock me up
you can tie me down
but imprinted on my face
shall remain a frown.
i COULD scream,
i COULD die,
i COULD live
but i WILL cry.
